Snaply 0.1.25
New features
1. Custom dictionary (Beta)
You can now add your own words to Snaply. This is designed for names, technical terms, acronyms, or any words the AI usually misspells. Snaply automatically learns and refines these words during dictation and transcription, improving accuracy over time without extra effort from you.
2. AI Polish for dictation (Beta)
A new AI mode refines the text you dictate in real time. As you speak, Snaply improves clarity and flow, and automatically replaces words using your custom dictionary, ensuring your preferred terminology is always used.
Quality of life improvements
1. Improved AI prompts for AI modes
We refined and optimized the internal prompts used by Snaply’s AI modes. This results in more consistent behavior, clearer outputs, and better alignment with each mode’s intended use.
2. Reliable audio pause and resume
Pausing and restarting audio now works correctly every time. When audio is resumed, Snaply fully clears the microphone buffer and restores playback at full high fidelity quality, preventing the degraded audio issues seen in previous versions.
Note
Over the coming days, I’ll focus on refining existing features and improving the app and UI. We’ve shipped many features in the past few days, so we’ll take this time to enhance the overall experience: streamline the onboarding, clarify the interface, reorganize key sections, record new video demos, and ensure both new and existing users have a smoother, more intuitive experience.
