Highlights

1. Smarter text insertions

Dictation now automatically adjusts capitalization, casing, and spacing based on where you are dictating.

2. Quick re-run for Writing Assistant

Press ⌘R to run the last Writing Assistant transformation again. For example, if you are not satisfied with a Polish result, press ⌘R to generate a new version.

3. Redesigned transcription history

A new layout for historical transcriptions. You can also now open the original transcription audio directly in Finder.

4. Less intrusive Writing Assistant icon

The Writing Assistant trigger icon is now more subtle and appears only when it is relevant. It shows up when meaningful text is selected (more than three words) and no longer appears when interacting with UI elements such as checkboxes or shapes in tools like Google Slides. The assistant menu now also closes automatically when you click outside of it.
